About the Division

The University Library was established in the year 2004. The TNOU Library has a collection of 26795 Books. The collection of books covers variety of subjects to support the curriculum and to support the research of the University faculty and students. The purchase of Books was funded by DEB Grant and University .

To develop and enhance the capability of the library resources and services to meet the demands of the curricular and research programmes of the academic community.
To provide Right information to the Right users at the Right time in the Right format.
To be a world-class support system that provides library and information services in a distance-learning environment.

Mission:

To acquire, organize, disseminate and facilitate access to decentralized, relevant and appropriate information resources and services that support the teaching, learning, research needs of the academic community.

Ensuring that all academic community have seamless, timely access to world-class resources to support their teaching, learning and research.
