This cell will work towards creating awareness among the learners about the job opportunities across the country suitable to their degrees. For which, a separate we wen page in the university website developed to disseminate the information to the students, who can access to it at their convenient. Possibilities for organizing Job Fairs exclusively for TNOU students in collobration with leading industries will be studied and subsequently, the learners will also be motivated to take part in the job Melas being conducted.
To make the TNOU learners potential for acquiring employable skills, special coaching on " Soft Skills" Conducted at the Head Quarters and the Regional Center of the University. Study materials regarding Interview skills, soft skills, preparation of CVs and Letters can be put in this cell's web page, as the job seekers will be able to use them models.
Tamil Nadu Open University Placement cell conduct the Employment Linked Skilling Programmes (ELSP) and Parallel Education and Employment Programme (PEEP) for the students who are all already enrolled and Completed their course in our university programmes collaboration with the schoolguru Eduserve Pvt Ltd, Mumbai and Soft Source Technology Private Ltd, Chennai.
Tamil Nadu Open University Placement cell conduct oneday workshop on familiarisation of Employment Linked Skilling Programmes (ELSP) and Parallel Education and Employment Programme (PEEP) for Core -Group and Stakeholders in association with the schoolguru Eduserve Pvt Ltd, Mumbai and Soft Source Technology Private Ltd, Chennai.
From 2019 to 2022 TNOU Placement Cell Successfully organized Seven Job Fairs in various part of Tamilnadu. Nearby 4614 learners getting the jobs in well reputed private companies.
