Objectives (நோக்கங்கள்)

• நிகழ்கலைத் திறனுடைய மாணாக்கர்களைக் கண்டறித்து அவர்களுக்கு ஊக்கம் மற்றும் பயிற்சி அளித்து கலைத்துறைகளுக்கு அறிமுகப்படுத்துதல்
• To find out the skills of students of performing arts and encourage them to train for further progress in multiple art forms.
• எழுத்தாளுமை, படைப்பாளுமை மற்றும் நுண்கலைத்திறன் மிகு    மாணாக்கர்களைக் கண்டறித்து அவர்களை ஊக்குவித்தல்
• To find out and encourage the students interested in literature writing, creativity in fine & performing arts.
• தமிழ்நாடு திறந்தநிலைப் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின்  மண்டல மையம் அளவில் கலைப் போட்டிகளை நடத்துதல், 
• To conduct art competitions among regional centers’ of TNOU.
• தமிழக உயர் கல்வி நிறுவனங்களில் நடத்தப்படும் நிகழ்கலை மற்றும் நுண் கலைத் திறன் நிகழ்வுகளில் பங்கு பெறச் செய்தல்.
• To encourage and make them to participate in performing and fine art competitions of Tamil Nadu higher educational institutions.
• தேசிய மற்றும் சர்வதேச அளவிலான அரசு மற்றும் பல்கலைக்கழகம் சார்ந்த நிகழ்கலை மற்றும் நுண்கலைத் திறன் நிகழ்வுகளில் பங்கு பெறச் செய்தல்.
• To encourage and make them to participate in performing and fine art competitions in National and International level.
• பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் நடைபெறும் விழாக்களுக்கு கலை நிகழ்வுகளை ஒருங்கிணைத்தல்
