The Diploma in DTP operator programme is a practice-oriented programme and has been designed to provide the basic knowledge of computer operation with typesetting and designing of various kinds of publishing work by using designing software like Page Maker, Photo Shop and Corel Draw . This programme makes learning Desktop publishing easy for any one who wishes to learn it. It is a job-oriented programme. After completing this programme the students can get employed in printing and publishing industries or can become entrepreneurs also. This is a 36 credit programme comprising following six courses.

Students enrolled for DTP Operator Programme has to attend 90 percent of compulsory Practical session for each Course. The theory session consists of one hour and the Practical session consists of two hours. The details of Counselling and Practical sessions are given in Appendices
