Diploma in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technician (DRAT)

This programme has been designed to enhance the self-employment opportunities in the field of Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning. There is a great demand of skilled manpower in India as well as abroad. This programme aims to impart more knowledge on servicing and maintenance of Refrigeration and Air-conditioning appliances. This is a 36-credit programme consisting of the following five courses.

Students enrolled for Refrigeration & Air-conditioning Technician Programmes has to attend 90 percent of compulsory Practical session for each Course. The theory session consists of one hour and the Practical session consists of two hours. The details of Counselling and Practical sessions are given in Appendices
