Certificate Programme in Environmental Studies (CES) The learners who have passed 10 +2 or equivalent can join this programme under formal scheme. Those learners who have no formal education (i.e., Non 10+2 learners) but have completed 18 years of age may pursue this Programme through Non-formal scheme. The learners (Non formal scheme) will simultaneously do PSS-1 Course of Bachelor Preparatory Programme (BPP) along with CES Programme. The Programme is of use to public; at every age and at all levels of formal and non-formal education, Professionals such as ecologists, hydrologists, foresters, landscape architects and occupational or Social Groups - for instance, administrators and planners, engineers, industrialists, agriculturists, etc. The NGOs with their dissemination capabilities shall find it very useful. The main objective of this programme is to generate awareness about the relationship between human beings and their environment. This 18 credit Programme consists of two courses and one Project.
