Certificate Programme in Teaching of English (CTE) This Programme is based on the communicative approach to language and is designed to enhance the teachers’ understanding of the learners, the learning process, and the nature and structure of the English language. It will also help the teachers to innovate strategies for teaching the skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. This is a 16 credit Porgramme comprising four courses.
